Peak at the Arts -- Global Artists Exchange Festival

The Japan-America Society of Southern Colorado is excited to co-sponsor the Peak at the Arts Global Artists Exchange Festival, coming Friday and Saturday, October 8 and 9, 2010, at the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs, CO.

We are sponsoring the Kaminari Taiko group which is one of the headline acts, along with the Costa Rican Dance Company.

As a sponsor, JASSC is responsible for selling a set number of tickets to Peak at the Arts. Proceeds from any sales we make above that number will go toward funding our 2012 Fire Festival. Thus we encourage all members and friends of JASSC to purchase tickets to this Global Artists Exchange Festival. You can also invite others to purchase tickets, crediting JASSC (see instructions below).

Tickets are available online. You should also be able to buy tickets at the Pikes Peak Center (719) 520-SHOW. Both nights are the same, so pick whichever one works best for you.

On the Buy Tickets page, in the last sentence, click on the words "Click here" to buy tickets.

First, find the line that says "Japan-America Society of Southern CO/Kaminari Taiko Drums" and click on that. This is how JASSC will get credit for your purchase.

Once you've done that, click on the header line for the performance you wish to attend: Friday or Saturday.

This will take you to the page where you enter the number of tickets you wish to purchase.

Please verify that you have picked the correct date, and that under "Enter quantity" you see "Kaminari Taiko Drums Japan/American Society of Southern Colorado" or similar words.

Choose your price level and quantity of tickets, and click "Add to Cart". Things proceed normally from here on out. You will get another opportunity to verify that you are crediting JASSC before you complete your purchase.
