Dear JASSC members,
An entertaining opportunity is coming your way and it is free!
Thursday, December 10th, 5:30 PM MST
Japan America Society of Colorado has asked our organization to partner with them in getting the word out about an excellent live performance by a traditional story teller. About 5 years ago at Colorado College, one of Joan Ericson's programs included a Rakugo storyteller. It was open to members and I saw some of you there enjoying yourselves as well. Please take the time to sign up for this free event, make it a family activity. You are welcome to share this with others who might be interested. (Flyer below.)
“Zabu” came to New York City to start his dream project of bringing rakugo performances to all 50 states. As his project got off the ground and live performances began, COVID hit. He was forced to return to Japan and put the project on hold. As he waited and waited for life to return to “normal”, he realized he could continue his mission online. We are so happy to bring him to Colorado to share his talents and passion!
Click the link to register, everyone loves a good story teller.
