This is a monthly event where Japanese speakers will stay in place at a table with a board/card game and English speakers will jump around where they want to play. We will try to speak in Japanese as much as possible! Any level of speakers are welcome!

About: Born in Tokyo, Japan. After working for some business industries in Tokyo, she received a Japanese teaching licence from Pana-Lingua Institute of Japanese Language, Tokyo. Kayoko has been teaching Japanese conversation, reading and writing through JASSC since 2002. About: “I am a retired high school teacher of Japanese and ESL with 30 years experience in the public school classroom in both Japan and Indiana. I moved to Japan directly out of university where I resided for 11 years, while studying Japanese language, culture and music. I have JPLT Level 1, MA in Ethnomusicology from Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku. I moved to Colorado in Nov. 2021, and currently live in and work as a sound healing practitioner and instructor of sound healing and yoga in Manitou Springs.
